Isolation Day 9: Lots of family exercise in our house today. 🚶♂️A long walk for Sean (rehabbing a strained calf). 🏃♀️A hill repeat session from a 4-week running program for me. 💪Thora busted out another session of her school’s distance learning PE homework. 🏃♂️🚴♂️🏊♂️ But Auric showed us all up by out of the blue, completing a solo DIY triathlon. He went for an out and back run down the road in one direction, collected his bike at our driveway for a ride up the road in the other direction, finishing up with several laps in the pool. But that wasn’t it. I came back from my exercise just in time to see The Fightin’ Pococks’ Makeshift Gym. Sean and Auric had played the time-honored game, “Fill These Bags with Stuff!” in order to improvise weights. Thora joined in too for some duffel bag lifting, thera-band pulling, and toilet paper barbells. You know, your classic gym equipment.
